Our Drupal 7 EOL support is a fully managed service that includes the implementation, testing, and deployment of Drupal Core, contributed modules, and themes to your live website. You will get the same level of support coverage and service as you currently get with our regular Drupal support service.

Onboarding

Onboarding starts with a Drupal audit that ensures our team develop an understanding of your Drupal 7 platform. This includes a report detailing any remedial or optimisation work recommended to keep your site secure and operating smoothly.

Communication

You will have a named account manager who will be your key point of contact, as well as 24/7 access to our service desk portal to raise and review support tickets.

Service levels

Our Drupal 7 EOL support service is covered by our service level agreement (SLA) for response and resolution times, as well as 24/7 critical incident cover to make sure we're there for you, rain or shine.

Costs & billing

We charge a one-off onboarding cost of approximately £2,550 + VAT* and a monthly support charge of approximately £800 + VAT*. Additional support time above the contracted amount is charged at £150+VAT per hour.

FAQS

Drupal 7 'end of life' (EOL) simply means that the Drupal Association will no longer support Drupal 7.

In practice, this means Drupal 7 sites will no longer benefit from the security updates, fixes and patches provided by the Drupal security team.

This creates a security risk for any Drupal 7 platform after January 5th 2025, with no mechanism in place to flag important updates or security patching, the risk of a security breach increases.

Alongside this, performance, SEO, and accessibility compliance will all likely be impacted as Drupal 7 no longer receives updates that keep it up to date with the latest web advances.
