The shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin recently and of course the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis earlier this year, brings back into focus the racism, inequality and discrimination that is so prevalent across the world. These are not problems that plague ‘other people’ in ‘other countries’ - they exist in our own communities and neighbourhoods.
Unless we stand together and unite against racism, oppression, inequality and discrimination, it will never be defeated. To stay silent is to accept and allow such injustices to continue and spread.
Zoocha will not stay silent. We believe that no one should ever have to live in fear or suffer oppression. We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement and BAME communities everywhere to overcome racism and discrimination in all its forms.
We are committed to diversity and inclusivity but we have not yet achieved the level of diversity in our team that we aspire to. We will continue to increase our efforts and will never stop striving for a truly diverse and inclusive team, community and World.
